PT12 sessions in PT11 questions

I realize PT12 just came out today and I've read over the list of 'improvements' and I wonder about something: with all the changes in routing and such I wonder what will happen when someone does a fresh session in PT12 and either themselves opens it up in PT11 or sends it to someone who only has PT11. Will PT11 start throwing errors and people go arrrrrghhhhhhh!!!!!!!!! and the air turns blue? It would be a shock if Avid has taken this into account already.

My PT11 I/O setup (part of my template) was read by 12. I've done many sessions with it and have gone back to 11 for various things and then back to 12. All good.

No, but only because I made a fresh 10.10 drive just for 12. Many people are reporting success with 11 and 12 coexisting though. See official docs for Avid's blessing of course.

Hi Drew,
Is this using your Blue D-Command? It works in 12? I ask as the support doc specifically says ES models of D-Control and D-Command. I've got a Blue D-Control.

I figured PT12 would read PT11 routing no problem but I'm talking the other way around - a fresh session started in PT12 using the routing enhancements going back to PT11. Will PT11 have issues?
