Default I sure wish the Mix window was dock-able.

Having to cmd + = between them is a pain.

Cheers,

If you using a Mac, here are two ideas.

1. Assign a mouse key to cmd + = with SteerMouse ($20). This makes it very easy to switch between the Mix and Edit windows.
30 day demo at:
http://plentycom.jp/en/steermouse/index.html
I use this all the time. I find it much faster than even using two monitors for Mix and Edit.

2.Use SizeUp ($13) to "dock" the Mix and Edit windows.
Demo at:

Unless I'm missing something, you can resize the windows so they are both showing, either one-on-top-one-on-bottom or side-by-side.

Another trick I use on small screens is to set the windows up so they are "cascaded" with a little bit of the "back" window showing outside the "front" window. Then you can just click the "back" window to bring it forward..

Just rockin'...what more is there?

I have been using window configurations and tiling options as a workaround.

hey peeps

on nearly all OSX programs if you hold cmd & hit the key on the left handside of the keyboard between the "shift" & "Z" keys (don't know what its called but it has these signs `~

its very close to the cmd key, it switches between windows within the app.

I find it very convenient and it works on all programs, so its easy to learn & get it into ya workflow, try it now in Safari ....

Hope it helps

That's a good point but in this case there seems to be not much difference between cmd+= and cmd+`(tilde) in terms of ease of use.

I would like the mixer to dock inside the main window in the same manner as the midi editor.
