$1999 for the VRS-8

$150 for the ML-2 (1) [that's pretty impressive IMO]

$2499 for the VRS-8 and 5 ML-2 mics

$2999 for the VRS-8, 5 ML-2 mics, and 1 ML-1 mic

Pretty cool.

That's a strong contender for the AT2035

No digital ins or outs, no individual channel analog outputs, it is a bit limiting for a lot of users.

Default SLATE Introduces the VIRTUAL RECORDING STUDIO (Interface VRS8)

Man it's hard to not be snarky, honestly.

I watched it.....the coolest thing is it sounds like he went high quality on the specs of the hardware interface, bravo.....

I also applaud the PCIE card for PC, bravo.

I would like to see it do 0.7 m/s.....with plugs.....if it does it , then it has a place.

Oh yeah SPA I want my FGX2

Its silly to rely on the PCIe card for PC since it will completely lose the PC Laptop market which is far ahead of even Mac in implementing TB3. On the upside, it gives the users of older computers w/o TB to jump in since so much of what has been coming out has been TB dependent. Driver development is so close between the 2, if he can get them both going, he will open up a huge portion of the market that has been left behind.

Not so sure about the PCIE card, with the newest generation of Asus and Gygabyte board you have Thunderbolt 3 already native in them (with a GPU Card ofcourse) And windows 10 already has thunderbolt drivers into it. So while I do get that it's a thought in backward compatibility for the older pc's that don't have thunderbolt, it's a space taken that could have been used for Adat ins and out's. Although I'm pretty sure that Adat will soon go the way of the thunderbolt wire if you think about it. This box can already be combined with multiple version of itself through the thunderbolt ports.

Was tempted to go Apollo 8p but now with this, might go this way for the new interface and mic options, and go get a few uad pcie cards instead, or a thunderbolt satellite.

Hmm wondering what that mix link in / out is all about?

Linking multiple units is what I'm thinking.
