Variable speed playback only works for one track
I would like to use variable speed playback for multiple tracks, which I know it should do?
The problem I have is that variable speed playback only plays back for a single track in pro tools. I want to use it for the whole session, but pro tools doesn't do this. It always just plays the selected track. It doesn't make a difference if elastic audio is enabled or not. I also loose view of the mouse icon during variable speed playback. Anyone know why?

Re: Variable speed playback only works for one track
Did you enable vari-speed on all the tracks?

Re: Variable speed playback only works for one track
I've tried enabling elastic audio on all the tracks and I have also tried enabling vari-speed audio processing on all the tracks. But variable speed playback only seems to playback the sound of one track in all my sessions. Is there an option or preference that I could have accidentally changed, or am I doing something wrong.
I always enable variable speed playback with the key command, Command + Number on the numeric keypad.

Re: Variable speed playback only works for one track
It's always been 1-2 mono or 1 stereo for this. Although designed for editing, I use this for effect, recording to another (Non-Avid) I/O via logic or melodyne.
For full mix scratching just layoff a mix stem. PS. traditional VSO Vari-speed can be had with a Sync I/O as master
