How to create loopback?
I'm in the process of analysing the frequency response of my mixing room and the software I'm using requires a calibration of the soundcard. The software needs to determine the frequency respons of the sound card so I need to make a loopback in the sound card.
The manual says: "Connect the soundcard's line output directly to its line input - use the channel that will be used to make measurements" How do I achieve that? Im using the Mbox Pro 3:gen. |

Re: How to create loopback?
No one knows?
The program I'm using is called Room Eq Wizard. The program plays a sinus wave that's suppose to play through out the soundcard by a loopback so it can record the frequency respons. I don't know if this makes any sense, but i can't figure out how to do that. |

Re: How to create loopback?
Its just that I'm afraid of overload/destroy the sound card in some way, hence my question.
But if I route a 1/4" cable from the monitor output to Mic/Di input 01, would be safe? |
