Vocal signal manipulation
So I was at guitar center yesterday and I heard these guys talking about vocal processing and such but I didn't catch the whole conversation. Later in the evening when I was tracking and mixing a project I started thinking about some of the effects they were talking about might sound good in my project. I thought I heard them talking about sending a vocal signal through midi sounds and manipulating it that way. How would I do this? Would a vocoder be part of the equation? Thanks.

Re: Vocal signal manipulation
You can use audio samples in midi. Was that it maybe? I dont do it in PT, but have done on keyboards and midi guitars.
Mike.
