basic monitoring guitar on mbox2 help...
hi, i have my electric guitar plugged into my mbox input 1.
When the mix knob on mbox is turned fully left, i can hear the guitar thru the speakers. Fine. But when i turn the mix knob to the right, fully, i cant hear no sound. I understand turning the mix knob fully right is to hear playback from pro tools. I can see the levels in the virtual mixer in pro tools, but i cant hear any sound. Ive tried auto input monitoring...input only option..... I basically want to hear my guitar playing live through pro tools via amplitude plug in.......is this possible? Or do i have to record clean, with no plug ins on.....and THEN apply the amp plug in. Thanks. |

Re: basic monitoring guitar on mbox2 help...
I don't think the plugins are the issue.
What about monitoring through a head set... do you hear everything else through them? |

Re: basic monitoring guitar on mbox2 help...
What the heck is it with these units.... There is constantly issues with them.
I've been buying one for days and I keep holding off because all that I hear about these units on this forum. It definitely is the case where more people are experiencing problems with the MBox 2 than those using it successfully. |
