Allen & Heath ZED R16 with PT9 and OSX10.5

Hi all,
not sure if this is the right place to post but i have a ZEDR16 and it works ok with my old logic and osx10.5 G5 tower but i want to upgrade to protools 9 on my macbookpro intel and dont know if the ZEDR will work with PT9 as the audio interface... anyone got it running?

I run it in my studio with 10.6 and PT9 and it's great. Though I don't use 10.5, the drivers from the Allen & Heath website indicate that the current release does work with 10.5 and 10.6. The Midi control doesn't work at all with PT though, A&H have yet to update drivers for that part and I doubt they ever will due to the mixers' age. Let me know if there are any other questions I can answer for you.

Im looking at getting the zed r16 but was curious to find out the process for routing back to the mixer for an analogue mixdown. How do you get round sessions with track limits higher than 16 but you still wish to mix analogue.

Do you subgroup or is there a way to scroll into screen to control other tracks if midi is selected?

I use a zed r16 with PT9 on a Win7 and I use subgroups in most cases depending on the track count. But the r16 is really flexible and there are a lot of workflows that you can come up with and it will still get the job done.
