Chicken Systems Translator WILL NOT convert Gigastudio to Structure

Just a warning to anyone considering the purchase of Chicken Systems Translator to convert Gigastudio samples to Structure: IT DOES NOT WORK.

I purchased the Structure Translator program about two weeks ago and attempted to convert just two instruments from Gigastudio to Structure as a trial and neither conversion worked. Chicken Systems has offered three new fixes and none of them has worked yet either.

I commend them on their effort and hope they can figure it out. And I believe they will . . . eventually. They worked with Native Instruments to develop the conversion for the Kontact sampler. But I need the instruments now.

It is disappointing in that their product is promoted as being able to do this when in fact it won't.

Has anyone had similar problems with their program?

PT HD2, PT 7.3.1, Mac Pro Intel Quad, OS10.4.11, Structure Free.

Well you may not like the methodology but they are having good luck in this thread converting samples into Structure format.

Import in Structure is broke and Digi is aware of it. Until they can issue a fix this probably going to be the best solution.

From what I read this method is working quite well though.

I don't think Chicken Systems Translator is working well for anyone in regards to Structure. Whether that is due to Structure or the program itself I can't say

I never got it to work converting Kontakt to Structure - I did contact (!) them but it never got resolved.
And Digi/AIR have been aware of the problems for, what, years now but have been too busy releasing Transfuser et al to get around to fixing it.
Very shabby, IMO.

I'm testing CST for the Blog and I've got great results on Giga, Mach V, ESX and others, contact them and check that everything is OK.

I'll be posting a video of it in use soon.
