parameter control knobs just stop working

Hi all!

I have an original blue D-Command and extra fader pack.

From time to time the makeup gain knob in the dedicated dynamics section just stops working. Yesterday the same thing happened to one of my panning encoders on my fader pack. Power cycling brings the function back. What do you think is the problem? is the encoder bad or is it a logic/firmware issue?

Hey Will,

I had problems with intermittent encoders on my d-command. In some cases some of them registering touch even when I wasn't touching them. I cleaned the connectors on the back of the panels and that fixed all of the problems I was having. So I would give that a try.
