Since yesterday: PT 2018.12.0 didnt find my D-Control ES?!

Hello my friends!

Since Saturday (for 2 days ago) my PT didnt find my D-Control!
It works without any problems for more than 1,5 years.

Mac-OS is Sierra 10.12.6 and I have NOT installed any updates or new drivers...

What can I do? Anyone any ideas?

What is showing in the ethernet settings in the peripherals page of the setup menu? Is the correct ethernet set in the dropdown window?

There is selected "Ethernet 1". That is the right Port and it works until Saturday...

I trust you have re-scanned in the peripherals ethernet port? is it showing in the etherrnet box-window at all or is nothing coming up?


Have you tried a new cable?


Are there any lights on the ethernet port on the command?



Can you check the ethernet is working on the computer? maybe plug into a hub or router and see if its working?


Re-set the command?

I really checked everything:

- LAN cable replaced
- LAN switch replaced
- All LEDs checked
- Re-Scan the peripheral Ethernet-Hardware in ProTools
- Checked the Ethernet-Konfiguration in PT (no changes - everythings right!)
- LAN works perfectly throughout the house
- MAC is in the LAN
- Reset D-Control
- Reinstall firmware on D-Control
...

But today:
I use the second Ethernet-Port from Mac! Change the PT Ethernet-Hardware on the peripheral page from "Ethernet 1" to "Ethernet 2"!!!

AND IT WORKS!


Sorry?!? Apparently my Mac swapped the two ports ?!
