Default fade shape tool not working
After upgrading to 2020.12, my fade shape tool quit working. Anyone know of a preference to change that back? Thanks.

With "fade shape tool" you mean setting the curve in the edit timeline?

Preferences/Editing/Fades/Smart Tool Fade Adjustment/Always on

Manual page 115 btw

Yes I mean using the edit shape tool in the edit timeline window. It seems to have quit working even though it is enabled in the preferences.

Does CRTL+ALT+left/right arrow key work? You know that the shape has to be set to Standard in the pref, right?

Thank you! Resetting the fade prefs to standard did the trick. I'm not sure how they got changed, but it's all good now. Thank you again for your sage advice!

Cool. I have so many issues I wouldn't have been surprised if this had been broken, too.
