VENUE D-Show 2.6.2 & 2.5.4 Updates

Updates for D-Show console software version 2.6 and 2.5 owners are now available from the Support/VENUE/VENUE Systems Downloads section:

D-Show 2.6 Standalone software users should also update to D-Show 2.6.1 Standalone Software if you have not already done so.

D-Show 2.6.2 Console Software Update

In addition to previous fixes, D-Show 2.6.2 includes the following:

Fixed: False Temperature Warning Displayed When Powering Up FOH Rack (Item #89822)

• With D-Show 2.6 and higher, you may have experienced a false temperature warning when powering up your FOH Rack.

Fixed: Metering of Bank Safe'd Strip Not Working Properly on Sidecars After Restart (Item #100038)

• On a D-Show Main with one or more attached sidecars, metering values for Bank Safe'd channels on sidecars did not always show the right signal if the strip was Bank Safe'd at startup. When moving between input fader banks, metering values for Bank Safe'd channels may have not stayed on the top layer with the rest of the safe'd channels' data.

Fixes Included from D-Show 2.6.1

Fixed: Input Channel Pad, 48V, and Input Gain Settings Not Converted Correctly when Loading a Show File Created Using a Previous Version of D-Show Software (Item #98725)

• Loading a Show file created using D-Show 2.5.x or lower resulted in the Pad and 48V settings being offset by two channels when the Show file was converted to version 2.6. In addition, the input gain settings for channels patched to the FOH Rack or Pro Tools assignable I/O were also shifted by one channel upon conversion.

D-Show 2.5.4 Console Software Update

In addition to previous fixes, D-Show 2.5.4 includes the following:

Fixed: False Temperature Warning Displayed When Powering Up FOH Rack (Item #89822)

• With D-Show 2.5 and higher, you may have experienced a false temperature warning when powering up your FOH Rack.

Fixes Included from D-Show 2.5.3

Fixed: FOH Rack Hardware Monitoring System Triggered False Alert Dialog when Data Could Not Be Read (Item # 90904)

• In some situations the hardware monitor system could be delayed or failed to collect data, causing a false alert dialog to appear onscreen even though no failure condition was present.

Fixed: FOH Rack Hardware Monitoring 3.3V Rail Minimum Threshold Has Been Raised (Item #89824)

• The minimum threshold voltage for the FOH Rack 3.3V power supply rail has been increased from 3.15V to 3.25V.

Fixed: Group Bus Assignment to Mains (LR and C/Mono) Wasn’t Being Restored Properly in Snapshots when Loading a Show File (Item # 94426)

• Due to an error in reading the show file the bus assignment to Mains (LR & C/Mono) for all Groups was inadvertently being updated in all snapshots to match Groups 1's routing. It is recommended that once D-Show 2.5.4 is installed you recall each snapshot and re-verify the Group routing is as expected.
