Default Avid control track View

Not sure if there is a way to do this or future request

While in track view in Avid control, it would be great to be able to select a track and have The track show up your edit window in protools centered on the screen. For Example if I want to work my vocal track that is not in view at the current screen in the edit window, instead of using your mouse or page up and down keyboard command to find the track, it would be great to the select the track in avid control track window.

Thanks
Adam

Try holding ctrl-shift and select the track from the app, that should scroll into view the track in PT.

JR F,

Thanks for the info, it seems to work, but still have to use two hands for the keystrokes.. It would be great if they make an option to bypass the ctrl-shift.. future request ?

thanks
Adam

Also, after selecting the track if you cmd + E (or just E in focus mode) for zoom toggle track height will fill the screen.

Assuming track and edit selection are linked and your prefs for toggle are set to fit screen height.

Or better yet, create a softkey for zoom toggle.

I realize this, the original poster wanted as few clicks/keys as possible. Let me clarify.

Aside from the softkeys on my surfaces, ive essentially created two user pages for myself with the keys I use most. I almost never move from these pages.

Same here. Mostly editing tools. Can't you just replicate the Zoom Toggle keys from page 23 on your user page?
