OSX output routing

Hey guys,
I can't seem to be able to set my default output of the system to Digidesign output..
I just finished installing PT6.0 with 001 on a Dual 1.25 and when I go into the Audio and Midi setup. It doesn't give me Digidesign as an option for audio output.
I'm just trying to have itunes output through the 001... I thought it would be easy..!!!!!

Hello,

Currently, Pro Tools 6.0 is the only application that can use Digidesign HW in OS X. As we have not yet finished the Core Audio drivers for X. The Core Audio drivers will be included with the Pro Tools 6.01 update. 6.01 should be available for download very shortly.

Will Core Audio drivers be available as a separate download so Mbox users can use Digi HW with other software?

Another question and I'd like to know if some of you guys have seen the same behaviour... when I use Pro Tools 6 on my Admin session, I have to use MOX Optimize, Shadow killer, drop down the monitor to thousands of colors and take away the desktop picture and just leave a solid color. If I don't do all this, PT simply won't create a DAE deck. BUT, when I use a regular user session (no admin or root privileges), I can use Pro Tools with OS X's full blown interface (millions of colors, anti-aliasing on, shadows on and even Safari running in the background) and PT behaves like a champ. I've done the preference trashing and restoring permissions routine, defrag, etc. and still get the same results. Any input on this?
