Lost Activation Code for PT10 but have iLOK

Hi folks
Very new to this, so please be patient.
I purchased PT10 in 2014 and recall being given some sort of activation code. I also have an iLok which has PT10 in it. I don't have this activation code anymore.
I never registered PT10. I used it on my Mac Pro 2008.
I recently acquired a MacBookPro and am looking to upgrade the PT10 to PT12 with El Capitan. I truly have no clue where to go and how to go about this.
I am downloading PT10 _3_9 on my MacBookPro hoping it would give me an option to upgrade to PT12 on-line with an extra fee.
My iLok is great and I can PM any admin folks here the iLok user name.

If you never registered PT10 or don't have the activation code where are you downloading PT10.3.9 from? The latest version is PT10.3.10 which would be in your Avid account if you have one. How exactly did you purchase PT10? From someone who owned it already? Your iLok2 does not have the PT10 program, just the license asset.

to upgrade PT10 to 12/11/10 bundle, you must buy an activation code from any Authorized Avid Reseller...

WestLake Audio, was where i purchased my upgrade from HD9 to HD12 bundle.

BUT...
you must have the ilok login & password <---

if you do not have the login & password, you cannot activate/move/upgrade the licenses inside the ilok USB.

if you HAVE login & password....
activate the upgrade code in the www.avid.com website,
AVID website will ask questions, then will generate the new licenses, and dump them in the ilok account...
when done...
you must login to your ilok account with the ilok manager ILM, download only from www.ilok.com
and move/drag & drop the New licenses from the "Cloud" to the USB, & move out the old....

PT12/11 will only work with ilok usb v2.
if you have v1, you must also buy a new ilok v2.

when transfer/activation is done, exit & enjoy PT12/11/10.

recommended to do this with a laptop or a pc with UPS, to avoid a power failure when doing the transfer of the licenses.
