Default Off topic, Neve design Taylor ES system

Hi
Well I finally saved enough for a new Taylor 614ce it's been a dream for many years.I've been playing guitar for over 20years so I think I've completed the probation period and my wife says its ok to!!!.(great new pricing $2100).
So it will have the new Neve designed ES pre system,so before I make the final move on this baby I was wondering if anybody has used the ES for direct recording.I know and love this guitar but the ES being so new,it does pose some questions.
I currently chain a NTK/TLM103 into a Grace 101/TLA5051 into Digi, just wondering if any of you know how the ES system would compare to that chain or what different options it would give for direct recording.
Love to here some opinions.
U.T

I am a Taylor owner so I was reading about the new pickup system in Wood & Steel. They made it sound as though God himself had designed it!
Would like to hear about your results (wish I had one myself).

"God" (ie Rupert Neve) DID design it. I have not used it, but as a Taylor 510 (no electronics) owner, I'm interested in checking it out. I'll probably STILL use external mics and preamps to record with, but you never know.

For semi-acoustic guitars i have always used a combo of a mic or 2 and the direct signal. I use a Rode NT1000 through a focusrite trackmaster as well as the direct going through a Boss GT5 on a clean acoustic setting. Get a nice blend of the 2 channels and it sounds sweet.
