Default 0 delay with 1024 buffersize

So is it possible that I've found a workaround for saving cpu and at the same time playing/recording with zero delay while using heavy plugins?

It seems so, as long as I do it right.

1. Run Pro Tools using ASIO4ALL drivers, and digi 003 turned off.

2. Cancel opening a project, turn on the 003 and go to setup and choose the 003 as playblack engine.

And wallah!

Can anyone explain this?

No explanation here. In fact, when I had my 003, ASIO4ALL totally trashed my rig to the point where the 003 didn't work at all. One "warning" with this, do some experimenting and make sure your new audio actually lines up in time to previously recorded tracks.

Do you have LLM on?

No, I rarely use LLM, I'd rather run Pro Tools in 128 buffersize mode so I may keep my plugins active while recording.
