The issue may be your software version(s). From the ilok website, you need to be using:

1. OSX 10.3.9 or higher (but not 10.4.4)
2. Either Safari 4+ or Firefox 3.5+

This is necessary just to use the ilok website. Once you're cool on that end of things, you can download and install ilok drivers and client helper software if necessary, and do what you were always able to do.

I had no problem with Firefox 3.5 UNTIL I upgraded the ilok client last week. From then on Firefox crashes as soon as I try to log in. Safari is fine.

WTF!

I just went to download a couple of license keys, had to update the iLok Driver and iLok Client.

Now Firefox crashes at login, and Safari crashes just loading the main page. I *was* logged in prior to doing the update, but now nuthin'.

Any updates or solutions to this?

This thread is a week old, and still no fix, no comment, no new plugins?

Well, I uninstalled the ilok driver and client software, then updated Firefox to 3.0.14, then re-installed the driver and client from my the same installers I'd downloaded earlier today.

Magically, I could now log into iLok.com, but iLok.com could not see my iLoks. It said I needed to install the latest driver and client...

So I go ahead and do this, and now.... Safari crashes when I try to log in.

I had all sorts of problems with the new iLok site using Safari v2 on 10.3.9

I switched to 10.5.8 - which forced me to upgrade to 7.4.2 -
I downloaded the iLok drivers and now everything runs smooth...

It's a shame that iLok's website upgrade inadvertently forces users to upgrade their OS X and correspondingly PT and various browsers - I hope this doesn't happen again - imagine being indirectly forced to upgrade to PT 8 when you're happy with 7.4 ?

I had to update Safari, which required an update to my OS from 10.4.9 to 10.4.11.

Sheesh... forced to do an OS update for no other reason than for copy protection.

PT computer running 10.4.9 seems ok but haven't tried the Ilok site.
