Default Acronym question?

May be a dumb question, but I've always been sort of curious in case I'm ever asked. I know TDM stands for Time Division Multiplexing and deals directly with ProTools ability on an HD card to bus synchronous audio streams together yet discrete... but what does LE stand for? Just Light Edition or something of the related?

I don't know, just an educated assumption; it's always had me curious and it's never really mentioned anywhere.

Thanks to anyone who can confirm it.

"Lacking Everything"?

"Look... Errors!"?

or referring to it's users:

"Lacks Experience"?

"Lightweight Enthusiast"?

"Limited Education"?

I'm SPK, I'm an LE user, and all of the above apply.

Poking fun aside, I'm pretty sure the official definition is "Limited Edition".

I thought it stood for "Looser Edition" since we are such losers that we can't afford the real Protools setup.

That's okay, I think HD stands for "Huge Debt" as that's where you'll be after you purchase it.
