Default using aux send from D8B to Digi001

I just recently started using the aux sends from my D8B going into the Digig001.What I noticed was some hissing like a analog tape coming from ptools after playback. I'm not sure why there 's some hissing. I tried recording @ 48k and @44.1 ,and it's still there. Would it be a difference in sound going direct to the Digi001 vs. using aux sends from D8B?
