Re: PT9 Import Session Data crash
Quote:
Funny as i have imported 2 tracks into my mix session today and its worked I am just importing regions only and the tempo map. I also checked with your test session on both HD 10.6.5 and my laptop 10.6.6 and both worked ok and i tried at the session frequency 96 and into a session at 48 with everything selected and with just regions and tempo. Previously importing just regions i did get the crash!! But i think that was importing sessions that were from PT8 so maybe opening the sessions first in 9 and saving before importing the data will work. Chris

Re: PT9 Import Session Data crash
Unfortunately, I'm unable to open the sessions in 9 first as the sessions I'm importing data from are on a server.
Thanks for your help! Waiting for 9.0.2..... |

Re: PT9 Import Session Data crash
After reading this thread, I'm not going to load PT9 yet.
I just purchased it today and downloaded it, so I'll wait to see a fix here. This Is Way Bad. We use ISD off a server too.

Re: PT9 Import Session Data crash
PT 9.0.2 fixed a number of Import Session Data crashes - but not *all* of them. Try the update.

Re: PT9 Import Session Data crash
Mine PT 9 crashes every single time ISD! Working last night with a hi end client think it crashed about 10 times! Why does it update the I/O settings when just importing a reigon and not the entire track?
Thank god I still have PT V8 on anther boot drive.. going back to PT 8 ,, Think AVID should go back to being Digidesign! |

Re: PT9 Import Session Data crash
It happens on 8.1.1 too - you'll have to go back further.

Re: PT9 Import Session Data crash
I've had this today as well. Tried to import 4 tracks from another session. Regions only... crash. Tried it a couple of times - it repeats. Any news on it?

Re: PT9 Import Session Data crash
another workaround for this issue is trying to open the session with inactive plugins (holding shift). isd now works fine again.
