G3 + 001 + G5 + Ethernet?
I've waded through the data base but haven't found my answer yet so before I go wasting a lot of time and energy trying to make this work I thought I would ask around first.
I've got an upgraded G3/800 and a Digi001 unit and they play well together...see the problem now is, I've got a new player....a dual G5 and well, he won't work with the 001. So I was hoping to connect the G5 up to the G3 via ethernet and see if I can run my PTLE set up from the G5. Anybody with experience doing this...(if it can be done at all) perhaps you could please post or email me directly and share your knowledge. thanks! |

Re: G3 + 001 + G5 + Ethernet?
I'm afraid that the scenario you are suggesting has zero chance of running. I'm gonna give you 10 points for optimism though.
You'll have to get an mBox, or a 002/R for the G5
