Default time line, bars beats

Hi,
I have a problem since I can't find a way to make pt show the grid.
On the view menu, bars betas are selected but the color is gray not black.
What can I do?
Thanks

Preferences>Display Tab>Draw Grids in Edit Window or you can click the Bars:Beats Timebase Ruler.
