Templates
Hey Everyone,
Can anyone out there give me a quick explanation about how to set up a template in Pro Tools. I assume that it's incredibly easy but I've never had to do one and now I do. Thank you for your time,

Re: Templates
try a search, or read your manual - the answer to this question is well documented.

Re: Templates
Ben-
To expand upon Slim's excellent, insightful, time-tested answer, reading the manual, which does works well, try this: Set up a session the way you want it, with inputs, output assignments, bussing, fx, etc., then save it with no audio. Find that session on your hard drive and click "get info". Then check the "stationery pad" box. That's it. When you open that session, it will prompt you for a name for the new session. Just name it, and record. Cheers..... That was incredibly easy, wasn't it? |
