Problems with Pro Tools and OSX??!!!

I am considering buying Pro Tools LE [Mbox] to run on my Mac G4 / OSX, but I'm reading a few things in this forum that sound like people are having problems with PT on OSX. Is it really true? Constant crashes, etc?

If you're running Pro Tools on OSX, and not having problems, please let me know.

You gotta keep in mind that most people who aren't having problems don't have a need to come here, so generally you only see problematic posts in this 'support' forum. Tons of folks run PT6 problem free, if you're considering a purchase, the smartest thing you can do is just keep on top of the compatibility documents - most initial problems that you see from new users here can be resolved down to an incompatible software or hardware combo.

Apart from the machines in my signature - I am working on an album project on the artist's G4 002R in 10.2.8
All systems have been trouble free and sessions are transferring between them without a hitch.

I'm running the latest version PT on OS 10.3 with a Digi002.

Granted, I'm not a power user and simply do my own singer/songwriter stuff, I have had no problems with it on an MDD Dual 867 with 1GB of ram. It's been great and I've also enjoyed the other apps like Reason rewired into ProTools as well.

I am running large projects on PT 6.2.3 in OS 10.3.2 and have hada little no problems that are related to those two things compatability. Buy the box man!
