The manual says:
To mute a send:
Press command/CTL+Select on the channel containig the send you want to mute.
this should mute a send, but it doesn't.

Could somebody try this on yours C8 and let me know if this is a common issue.

Mac G5 2x2.5ghz, 3.5gb RAM, Pro Tools Le 7.3.1cs1, OS 10.4.8

I usually use the Flip button, then mute whatever track I need to.
But I'll try it later on..
