Coreaudio Setup Problem: DirectIO is in use by another application.
Hello I am trying to enter the Coreaudio setup on my IBook G3 900Mhz. I am running OSX 10.2.8, Protools LE 6.1 and Logic 6.4.3 (Old I know!)
When I try to enter the setup, I get the message "DirectIO is in use by another application. In order to use this setup application, please quit all applications using DirectIO, and then re-launch this application." The only solution I have found is to "Remove the iSightAudio.plugin from the following location: /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/HAL/ folder and Restart the computer." I don't have an ISight plugin in this folder. Can anyone suggest what else I could do to rectify this problem? Many thanks in advance. |
