External Lacie Drive Formatting
I just purchsed Secrets of the Pros DVD Volume 1. The author said if using Windows XP, you MUST use Microsoft's Disk Administration software to format the drive or you WILL have problems down the road. I don't remember how I formatted the 2 GB Lacie hard drive 1 year ago but I now have many sessions saved and don't want to reformat unless I absolutely have to. Is there a way to check and see if I formatted the drive properly? The drive currently uses the NTFS file system and I have not had any problems in the last year.
