Default DirectIO is in use by another application

Running protools LE 6.4 on a digi 0002 rack with a Mac G5 OSX. Can't open protools getting "DirectIO is in use by another application. In order to use this setup application, please quit all applications using DirectIO, and then relaunch this application."

I have removed the ISIGHTAUDIO.plug in from /library/audio/plug-ins/hal folder by throwing in the recycle, emptying it, restarting computer still getting this error message.

Does anyone have any ideas?
