RTAS Mastering plugs?

Hi there,

Can anyone tell me if there are any RTAS plugins that provide mastering tools similar to BBE's Sonic Maximizer or the Aphex Exciters?

If not plugins, what would be a good independent mastering suite (MAC) to invest in?

There are several patches in McDSP's CompressorBank CB3 module which provide high frequency "enhancement". I would expect that their MC2000 (multi-band comp) would have some similar patches.

The DUY Shape plugin (from the Everpak) has some very interesting dynamics-related and frequency-conscious compression/expansion settings, also.

Both companies have demo versions of their BASIC products (but not the MC2000).

I don't think Aphex or BBE make RTAS plugins, tho'.

Don't use BBE. That's my only humble opinion on the subject...
