Default Mbox Pro 3 not recognized by PT12 on El Capitan

Hello. I am having trouble getting my Macbook Pro running Pro Tools 12 and OS X 10.11.2 to recognize my Mbox Pro 3. Is it even compatible to begin with? If not, how can I fix this issue. Thank you.

The latest drivers support 10.10.3 http://avid.force.com/pkb/articles/d...ox-Pro-Drivers. If rolling back is an option, that might be your quickest solution until updated drivers are released.

It is always best to check compatibility for all your hardware and software BEFORE upgrading your OS. More info here:http://avid.force.com/pkb/articles/c...EUCON-and-ISIS

While El Capitan is a problem for many USB interfaces including from Avid, folks do have the FireWire Mbox 3 Pro running in El Capitan on non-officially supported drivers.

so the question becomes are the drivers installed? Was this an upgrade of a previously working system? How was the upgrade done? - Ideally it was a clean full OS X install.

Thank you all. I received this box as a gift and i wondered if it worked. I do not have the latest drivers for this nor do i know where to get non-supported drivers. Im willing to try that option.
