About to buy Mbox can you help with best laptop???

Hi guys,

I have read the thread on Best Laptops for Mbox,

However I was wondering if you could answer a few seperate questions for me.

I am going to purchase a new laptop and I need Protools to be as reliable as possible.

What I need to know is how much Ram I will need to run Protools with so that I don't have any memory issues. Also what would be the ideal processing power. I am assuming that one of the recommended laptops would be the best bet. However would it run just as well on say a 1.5ghz as a 3ghz? Is there a point where it wont run any better?

Obviously I want it to run as well as possible, but don't want to have to spend a shedload on a pc if a slightly cheaper one will run it exactly the same.

I am by no means an expert but from what a have read around hear you definetely need to strictly follow the recommended laptops and get at least 1 gig of ram. I have heard a bout a lot of people having trouble with the mbox and I think it is mostly due to incompatible computer issues. There are lots of posts here about ones that will work and how effective they are. SPend some time reading posts and definetely get one that has good reviews here!
