Pro Tools 2020.5 pencil tool in MIDI notation mode not switching note values

Pro Tools 2020.5 pencil tool in MIDI notation mode not switching note values. Staying on 8th notes even when switching the pencil tool note values in every MIDI window and Grid value. It WILL work on piano roll view, just not notation mode.

Mac Mojave
