PT 5 upgrading, memory dimm chips dont fit in G3 / 266 ? Can\'t get lid closed?
The chips sit too high and the lid rests on them!
Americanino brand 128 MB Beige G2 chip Any ideas? |

A minor "chassis modification" is in order. I had the same problem and I found that it was the fan grill on the bottom of the swing out chassis that was the problem. I took a pair of pliers and bent up the middle of the fan grill to clear the RAM module.
