Default How do I make a 6-channel interleaved .BWF?

Does anybody know if there is a program that can join 6 mono files to a polyphonic .BWF? Bonus points if it copies the relevant information of the sources' BEXT chunk to the destination file.

Application: inside ProTools we have a 5.1 mix but the client wants a 6-track WAV file, and we'd like to skip bouncing to disk a 2 hour film in realtime just to get an interleaved file.

Tiago...

The app is called PROTOOLS Seriously - select your 5.1 Mix (make sure it's on a 5.1 track) and do Shift-Option-K. Now select Stereo instead of (multiple)Mono and choose your output destination and formats and voila - A six channel BWF. Re-import it if you want to check it. It works! Apparently Stereo is code for Interleaved...

AAARGH! Really? "Export Selected Regions as Files" will export a region in a 5.1 Track as a 6-ch interleaved file if I select Stereo?? I'll try tomorrow, of course. Why hasn't this option change name to Interleaved already?

Thank you very very much!

You're welcome...It works with 6.4.1 anyway - I retested before I replied. I THINK it's in the manual, or the What's New guide, maybe it was even here in the DUC - I just remember reading it somewhere.

It works, but the file names have to have the correct suffixes. Duplicating the selection do help for that
