Default MC Control - bank shift 4 channels instead of 8?

Hey guys,

I finally got my MC Control to work with Ableton Live.

My only problem now, is that when I want to shift the bank of channels, it jumps to the next 8, which isnt very practical as there is only 4 faders on the Control, meaning it skips half the channels.

Any chance I can change the amount somewhere?

Thanks a lot,
Kris

Hi Kristian!

Try to go to the EU Control Settings far left on the right side top and go into Surfaces. Below your right column you select "Artist Control banks independently". Hope that does it for you.

I'm guessing that's only enabled if you have an MC Mix connected.

Hmm.. Could be.. Just seems a bit odd if a 4-fader controller skips 8 channels pr bank :-/

it's a legacy thing with HUI/Mackie Control... they think every controller has 8 faders.

You'll have to use Nudge... or just "Select" the track with the touchscreen to bank the faders...
