Xmon output meter ????
hi there
i'm unable to understand the metering of the main section of my Dcontrol in the output meter position : when i send a signal to the main input of the xmon (from my 192io), the meter is metering nothing. When i send a signal on the surround inputs, the meters indicates something, but the calibration screws of the xmon have no influence on the level. so there is certainly something that i didn't understand... any help ?

Re: Xmon output meter ????
The control surface meters are sourced digitally from Pro Tools (via ethernet) whenever Main is selected in the monitor input source selector. When Main is not selected the surface meters are driven from XMon.
The calibration trimpots should effect the meter level when you meter your surround input, unless you are in Sum mode then it could be meterering Main over ethernet. For the Main meter problem check the I/O setup is correct. Robin |
