Ok, I am looking at a World Time Zone Map to see where Pacific Time actually occurs. But I can't see it listed anywhere.

So does the Pacific time band occur at -8 GMT .

To anyone that can help here is a big THANKYOU in advance .

Your videos are great!! I checked them out last night and today, and they have definitely helped tide me over until tomorrow!

Thanks that helped, Pacific Time is -7 GMT.

That allowed me to use this little 'time convertor' on the web:So, I can finally get my hands on the ERXP at 2:00 am March 23rd. Now I have to find something to occupy my mind for the next 11 hrs .

Thanks nst7! I have not had a chance to really do any recording since I have had my 11r but now I have some projects that gotta get done and I am really loving it so far! I'll experiment more tomorrow. I have those vocals recorded and I'll see what I can come up with to use it more like a plugin @ mixdown. I was aware that the reverb was high quality but didn't know for sure if they would work ok for vox. That is one of the main things I don't have is a good quality reverb so this should be good!

Yeah, it's quite good. We intentionally kept the number of controls to a minimum for ease of use, so you can dial something in quite quickly.

You can also do some cool 'classic studio tricks' with Multi-FX on an expression pedal while tracking vox. I may make a blog about that.

Thanks man, thats what I wanted to do, give some samples since Avid didnt post any, and you guys have been waiting (me included) for something! The ERXP sounds even better in real life without all the Youtube compression, but im sure most of you already realize that. Its better than nothing though

Enjoy....

Benoni, thanks for posting another video. You're fast! And sounds great!

Also, I'm just about to post a new thread on Speaker Breakup, which has some details on how to get the most out of it.

Steps for philcan's question:

1. Run the ERXP installer on your Pro Tools system.
2. The install places an 'Avid Eleven Rack' folder or app on your desktop.
3. Take this new installer from the desktop and bring it (let's say on a thumb drive), with your Eleven Rack and a USB cable, to your online computer.
4. Download the appropriate Eleven Rack Driver from http://www.avid.com/drivers and install it (you need it on the non-Pro Tools system so that ELeven Rack can be seen by it to do the update).
5. Connect the thumb drive to your online computer and run the Avid Eleven Rack Updater.
6. Enter the serials as instructed, and the new Firmware will install.
7. After it installs the firmware, take everything back to your Pro Tools system, plug it all in, launch Pro Tools, and you should be good to go.

(It's not as awful as it looks, and the FW Updater is only about 7 MB).
THANKS FOR THE INFO MUCH EASIER THAN MOVING A PC & Monitor.

Seconded, Benoni! You've become the go-to guy for so many people around here, it's almost hard to believe.

In fact, I don't believe it.

Clearly you are either fronting for a conglomerate of Mensa members or a top secret think tank, or else you are some sort of owl/dolphin hybrid creature who plays guitar, makes cool videos and solves problems. Not that owls or dolphins do either of those things particularly well. Lazy lower species...

OK. I think I got sidetracked. What was I saying?

Thanks,

The Chimp
