I can't find the HEAT DMG

I've been to all the pages but I'm unable to find the download. It is activated in my ilk. I am on a perpetual license.

An exact link would be super helpful..

There is no separate download. If the iLok license is there it will appear in PT. Look in the Options menu for "Activate Heat". Then you'll see it on the channels as described in the manual.

^ while this is true, HEAT was a separate installer in older versions. Back then it was however delivered within the Pro Tools installer, it was lurking in the Additional folder. But I don't think it ever was a separate download.

I was just guessing by the sig. 2022 Mac Studio, must be a recent version.

All the info about everything and still not clear about Pro Tools. Most extreme case maybe the OP has Pro Tools Artist, probably not, but lets just be clear about the most basic stuff before getting multiple pages into a thread. And if this is a Heat license on the iLok is it a perpetual license or a subscription license from being part of the Update/Support plan marketing package--and if the later is the subscription period active (or maybe it's incorrect... given other mistakes Avid has made recently with licensing dates). So OP, the exact details will help... what exact version of Pro Tools, and what exactly is your heat license (post a screen shot of details if you are not sure). Or maybe it's all there working fine and you just never checked thinking they had to install stuff first.

And the timeline recap... If it's Pro Tools HD/Ultimate/Flex then it's always supported running heat, well ever since Heat was a thing. Pro Tools standard 2019.6 or later supports heat, as does Studio (but not Artist or Intro). I had to go remind myself it went back that far, I kept thinking about the change where Avid added a Heat and Complete Plugin subscriptions to the Perpetual Support/Update plans, and there was all that concern about people not getting licenses for that in their accounts... as Avid slowly pushed out new Heat licenses to people's accounts in late 2021. So I kept having late 2021 in my mind... but that's nothing to do with when standard actually supported Heat if you have a license. I had to go look up it was 2019.6 and later.

Then the next obvious question is is it there but not noticed... is the mix window right panel expanded and is Heat selected to show in the mix view selector.

2 things to remember:
1-Under the Options menu, that is where you enable HEAT.
2-The tiny arrow in the lower right corner of the MIX window is a bit wonky and it only opens the HEAT controls by clicking in a very small corner(IOW, most of the arrow button does nothing)

Great. That whole UI/UX is a bit weird. And as much as I dislike over the top splash screens/tutorial screens I probably would have done a “welcome to Heat” tutorial screen on first appearance of a license.
