PT Mpowered license lost

Hi there,

my friend asked me to help with his situation, he's not really speaks english well. so i'll try to help.

he had pro tools mpowered on his ilok 1. then it was a whole new thing with switching to ilok manager and avid changing licensing. so his license disappeared.

now he wants to upgrade from Mpowered to PT 12, but i'll not be possible without having license, as i assume.

he has all the registration confirmation emails and stuff.

Licenses do not just disappear. Simply changing over to the iLok Manager would not delete a license from his iLok.

Does he still have the iLok? What is on it?

Can he log in to his iLok account? www.iLok.com

The only way the license would disappear is if it was purchased fraudulently, NOT ACCUSING YOU or your friend, but if the license did disappear maybe the seller did not have a true license. Did you buy it from an authorized dealer or what?

If you have all the confirmation emails can he not log in to his iLok account and see what is in there?

Have you tried starting a case with Pace and inquiring about the license?
