Pro Tools 7 Release Date Oct 28th

I know everybody has beaten this to death, and I don't know if this link has been posted on the DUC, but I was browsing the web and came accross this.....

Maybe, maybe not, but that is the first confirmed date I have seen.

There's nothing official about that date; that's the "mac observer" website. I could put that date on my website too, but it wouldn't mean squat.

Here's some advice for everybody asking this question over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and: until you hear it from the horse's mouth, don't believe it.

I understand your point, but if it's BS, then fine. But for us Mac users, the Mac Observer is a very reliable and up to date online resource and is Apple's largest online news resource. Yes I can put it up on my website, and so can you. But you don't make a million dollars + in advertisements off of your page either. Either way......it's more than digi has given us.

Pro Tools 7 Software Announced
October 7, 2005

Digidesign is pleased to announce the upcoming release of Pro Tools 7 Software. Pro Tools HD 7, Pro Tools LE 7, and Pro Tools M-Powered 7 software are all expected to be available to users in about a month.

That estimate has not changed.

With that said, can anyone say "Halloween Pro Tools 7.0 Launch"

Or how about a typical new release movie style date (which is always on a Tuesday) November 1st, 2005 release of Pro Tools 7.0

I'd say there is a 100% chance that one of those 2 days will be the release date!
