S3 w/ AVB

I am looking to finally expand my AVB network to include my S3. I was told recently that AVID is soon to drop, or has already dropped support of AVB with the S3. Is this true?

If AVID is indeed still supporting AVB with the S3, what solutions are users implementing to achieve an AVB network on Windows? I have been in regular contact with AudioScience about their Hono AVB Virtual Sound Card, and it looks promising.

I doubt they're going to disable it in a firmware update (apparently Mojave fixes the issue that troubled the last couple of macOS releases, too). And they seem pretty committed to AVB for their live sound products. Whether it has a future in their studio products I don't know, I suspect there's much more market demand for Dante.

I don't know if anyone has succeeded interoperating with Windows, but Hono are probably the guys to talk to.

We have no plans to drop AVB on the S3, not sure where that came from.
