Spotlight yet?
Has Digi/avid fixed the Spotlight issue yet on Pro Tools HD 8.0.3 & SL 10.6 ?
or do we still disable it on all HD's we record audio onto?

It's not something that can be fixed - what's happening with Spotlight is that every hour or so it will fire up and index any new data on attached drives, which can cause conflicts with Pro Tools writing/reading from the drive.

Apple could probably "fix" the problem by:
Allowing the user to apply a schedule or Putting up a dialog that "Spotlight indexing is about to begin. Continue? Y or N" But these things don't seem to fit Apple's style...
