PT 6.9 with Avid Xpress Pro 4.6 broke

I had a second boot drive using Protools 6.6 with AXPro 4.6 working well together.
Well since 6.9 was a combination of 6.6 and 6.7, I upgraded and now CoreAudio works on everything
(iTunes, Toast, Peak) but not on AXPro.
Avid owns Digidesign, why cant they play well in the same sandbox???
