24 bit
Can Pro Tools free work with 24 bit audio?
I know that it can only record from the sound manager in 16 bit 44.1. Thanks Rich Shumaker

Yes, when you open a new session, you get a choice of creating a 16-bit or 24-bit session. You can open 8 tracks at 24 bit from a Pro Tools LE or even TDM session and work in 24-bit.
