Eleven Rack Firmware Update v 1.0.3...now!

Good morning everyone!

We are pleased to announce that the 1.0.3 Firmware Update for Eleven Rack is now available for free download to Eleven Rack owners!

You can find everything you'll need here:

We will also be releasing a version for Win7-64-bit shortly. For those on that platform, you can use the 32-bit version for now. Just be aware that the 'Update' button will look grayed out and the device will appear to be offline...just hit 'Update' anyway and it will work fine.

Yeah I read that. It did update the 11R, BUT after I ran it and the drivers were installed, my system Blue Screened Indicating a problem with an incompatible driver, however after re boot everything seem OK. I will launch PT and see how things go.

I used Run As admin to run the Updater, and my 003R was also plugged in and ON at the time, and the SPDIF sync light on the 003R was still on as well (I had just closed PT to run the updater) So that may have been the problem there.

Right, it was just when it switches to Firmware mode it basically turns the 11R off (i think) and then after the install I got the messages in the tray area that the drivers for the 11R were installed and ready to go, then BSOD. Im pretty sure it was related to still having the 003R locked to SPDIF of the 11R when I ran the Updater.


Pro Tools comes up fine. The Eleven Rack Window showed up the first time (usually I have to launch PT, launch a session and the Window says it cant connect, then I shut down PT, then re-launch and it will come up.) Everything seems to be working fine. Good job. You think I should start the thread "Eleven Rack Firmware 1.0.4, where is it after many minutes!"

First thing on the list of fixes is what I'm most excited about (FX Loop noise). Unfortunately my computer is lame so I'm going to have to take my 11r to Sweetwater again and have them update it for me...which means I have to resist the urge to buy stuff when I'm there, lol.
