Default PT wont open, please help

I have a session in the morning and all of a sudden Pro Tools won't open. When I click on the icon i get the message

The application "Pro Tools" could not be launched because of a shared library error: "+<ProTools_OSX_Rel><ProTools_OSX_Rel><DAE><>

Does anyone know what this means? I recently downloaded some apps from Limewire. That is the only conflict that I can think of. But I have since trashed EVERYTHING in my shared folder, and i still get the message. Please, any advice would be great. Thanks

Throw away all Digidata Bases Folders " ddb" on all of your drives, ALL OF THEM!!. Then trash your preferences, normal stuff OS X/Pro Tools 6.x Setup & General Troubleshooting, repair your permisions, Do that after every crash, then re-boot and once it starts pazz your phee ram 4 chimes. That should get you going , if not, more information is needed.

Actually you will need to uninstall and reinstall Pro Tools.

Did you possibly restore your OS or reinstall it recently?

To uninstall Pro Tools - run the Pro Tools installer and, when you get to the custom install page, click on 'Custom Instal' and select 'Uninstall' from the drop down menu.
