Default Pro Tools instalation ..HEAT
Help... Im trying to install Pro Tools 10 student edition and its telling me it wont run because HEAT hasn't authorized my Ilok ...What should I do?

You can just skip the authorisation, but you may as well uninstall heat unless you have/plan to get a HD license or the Complete Production Toolkit, because even though they give you the installer, HEAT isn't available in LE (unless you have complete production toolkit)

Heat is HD only, and requires DSP to run. TDM, or now HDX only.

Listen to this guy. I just looked it up, it is HD only, so ignore what I said about complete production toolkit
