Stop Focus on Superior Drummer

If any knows, how can I temporarily disconnect my keyboard so that it won't set off Superior Drummer when I want to do other tracks?
I am using and Oxygen 88 with Pro Tools 12. I don't want to "pull the plug" so I'm hoping there is a quick way to disconnect from Superior Drummer.

I am not sure what you are actually trying to do, I use SD3 all the time with PT12 and Studio One and never have to "pull the plug", I just select the next virtual instrument I want to control.

Disable record arm and monitoring on your SD track and you should no longer get triggers on that channel.

I am also a little unclear as to what is actually happening ( but "if" I am understanding )
It could be you may have "Use first selected track " selected under the midi tab in your preferences window, which is what I do so I can quickly switch between different midi instruments triggered by my Keyboard.
So if it is selected in preferences simply make sure to highlight in the mixer or edit window the track you want work on and the midi instrument on that track will be what is triggered by your keyboard
